AI generator of coloring, puzzle and journal books for Amazon KDP · Italy, listed as United Kingdom on TrustMRR

Low Content AI

Evidence A
US$642,409still running, revenue flat · 26 months after launch
The product

A web application for people who sell simple books through Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing. The user describes a book, and AI models produce its pages: line drawings for coloring books, puzzles and mazes for activity books, text and layouts for journals and planners, and a description for the Amazon listing. A subscription buys credits. By the terms of service one generated image costs 200,000 credits, so the smallest plan, with 40 million credits a month, pays for about 200 images.

Why it worked

It sold one narrow job to a group that already existed: people who learn from YouTube channels and paid courses how to publish many simple books on Amazon. The product carries that group's own word in its name, tutorial channels in English and Italian showed it from January 2025, and the site runs an affiliate script. Two thirds of the US$642,409 came in the first 14 months, at about US$30,300 a month. The last 12 months average about US$17,600 a month.

AI screenwriting and pre-production web app · China, company registered in Hong Kong

Laper

Evidence A
US$520,812still running, revenue flat · 10 months after launch
The product

A web editor for screenplays and novels. It keeps the industry page format automatically, turns the scene headings and character names in the script into lists of scenes, characters and locations, and adds AI help that the writer calls on: short continuations, script review, character images and storyboard frames. Several people can edit one script at the same time.

Why it worked

The founder had worked as a screenwriter and knew which part of the job is tool work: the page format, and keeping characters and scenes consistent across a long draft. He built the editor around that work and kept the AI in the role of a helper. He says Claude Code wrote all the code. The beta grew through invite codes that users earned by posting about it, and monthly revenue rose from US$5,136 in May 2026 to about US$46,000 in August and in September.

AI companion chat app · USA · Funded

Kindroid

Evidence C
US$9Mstill running · 33 months after launch
The product

A chat app for adults in which the user creates an AI character, called a Kindroid, by writing its backstory, key memories, personality, appearance and voice. The user then talks to it by text, voice call or live video call, and the character can send generated pictures and short videos of itself. The character keeps a memory of earlier conversations. The app is for users aged 18 or older and runs on the web, iOS and Android.

Why it worked

It launched in June 2023, when open-source language models had become good enough for a small company to build a companion, and when users of older companion apps were looking for a new one. The user writes the character, so a character from another app can be moved in. The company sells a subscription, prices its add-ons at the cost of the extra computing, and published an update about every eight days in 2026.
