AI virtual staging of listing photos · USA, team mostly in Germany

Virtual Staging AI (VSAI)

Evidence A
US$1Msold · 20 months after launch
The product

A web app for real estate agents and photographers. The agent uploads a photo of a room, chooses the room type and a furniture style, and gets back the same room with furniture in about 10 to 15 seconds. It can also remove existing furniture. Plans are monthly subscriptions sized by the number of photos, and the top plan includes an API.

Why it worked

In 2023, general image generators that were asked to furnish a room also changed the room: the founder said DALL-E might turn a window into a wall painting or add a door, which misrepresents a property. VSAI's own model finds the floor, the ceiling, the mirrors and the doors first and only then adds furniture. It cost US$12 to US$69 a month in early 2024, while VSAI's comparison page lists other staging services at US$16 to US$29 per photo with 12 to 48 hours of waiting. Zillow, the listing portal where such photos end up, bought it.

AI rendering for architects · Poland

Visualizee.ai

Evidence A
US$97,668still running, revenue flat · 37 months after launch
The product

A web app where an architect or interior designer uploads a SketchUp screenshot, a sketch or a photo and types what to change. A chat assistant called Vizzy returns a photoreal render, or a short video, that keeps the rest of the design. Plans cost US$15 to US$80 a month.

Why it worked

For two years it was a powerful node editor that architects did not want, and it made about US$150 a month. The founder replaced it with a chat box where you say what you want, and changed one-time payments to subscriptions. Stripe revenue then grew 5.3 times from November 2025 to March 2026. His salary paid for the slow years.

Interior AI

Evidence C
US$516,000still running, revenue falling · 24 months after launch
The product

You upload a photo of a room, pick a room type and a style, and about 25 seconds later you get a photorealistic render of the same room redesigned. It also furnishes empty rooms for real estate listings, turns sketches into renders, and makes walk-through videos.

Why it worked

It was the first product of its kind, built in five days in September 2022, a few weeks after the image model it uses was released as open source. The founder already had a large audience from ten years of public revenue reports, so the launch post was enough marketing. Rented GPUs and one person keep costs low. Revenue reached about US$40,000 to US$50,000 a month and has been falling since 2025 as large AI companies and competitors ship the same feature.

AI virtual staging and marketing images for real-estate agents · France

IACrea

Evidence C
US$124,740still running, revenue growing · 21 months after launch
The product

A web and mobile app for real-estate agents that furnishes, redecorates and enhances property photos with AI, turns them into short videos and 2D floor plans, and publishes them to social networks and Meta ads. Agents pay a monthly subscription that includes credits, and each AI action uses some of them.

Why it worked

The founder knew image AI from data science and chose real-estate agents as customers, because they need attractive photos of every new property, every month. She sold in French first, listed the tool on directory sites, paid affiliates who already reached agents, met agents at real-estate events, and cut cancellations with credits that carry over and yearly plans.
